Some places must remain sovereign. They are commissioned at the seat of state by republics, principalities, city-states and the institutions that act in their name.
From Paris, this practice is at the disposal of the French Republic, the institutions of the European Union, and the foundations and ministries that act in their name, alongside sovereign principals further afield.
Heritage
MXG carries forward a lineage that begins in Edinburgh in 1956 with the founding of RMJM, and continues through the Morrison Group into the present day. The Morrison family's stewardship has been the constant; the disciplines have widened with the work.
From the rebuilding of Kuwait City's water and aviation infrastructure after the Gulf War, to the new Scottish Parliament in Edinburgh; from the Dubai International Financial Centre and Capital Gate in Abu Dhabi, to the venues of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games; from the Gazprom headquarters in St Petersburg to the China Merchants Bank Tower in Shanghai, the work has held to a single discipline: do what was promised, with the patience of a very long view.

MXG Group was founded in London in 2020 to do what no single discipline can: hold the responsibility for a complex development from its first sketch to its final walk-through, on behalf of one principal.

Development is a private matter. We do not advertise engagements, name clients, or publish work the owner has not chosen to share. Net-zero and whole-life value are embedded, not appended; fewer hand-offs mean faster decisions and tighter cost and schedule control.
